THe Story of Minecraft

SMP- You awake, to find that you are surrounded by trees and farm animals. You have no memory of what put you here, or why you have nothing but a shirt, jeans, and shoes. You instinctively go out for wood, maybe get some for a fire, or to make a pickaxe, something that you have never known how to make until now. You punch the nearest tree, in order to get the wood, then slice of the bark and cut in into planks, with your hand. You use these planks to create a crafting table. You use this table to create a  pick axe. The adventure has begun.

To download these mods (I take my time out of my boredom to type this, so you BETTER READ IT!) all you have to do is:

1. Download TMI/Modloader/Audiomod(REQUIRES MODLOADER)
2.Open Minecraft.jar (Open the 'run' menu and type %appdata%/Roaming/.minecraft/bin/Minecraft or Minecraft.zip if you have a pre release)
3. Delete META-INF
4. Put the files of the mod in your .jar
5. Enjoy!

Since the release of the Pretty Scary Update we’ve been super-busy trying to fix as many reported issues as possible. We’ve now reached the point where we’ve fixed so many that we spend more and more time wondering “haven’t we fixed that already?” and “I wonder if this will break anything else…” In other words, it’s time to look forward to a new official update!

The changes since 1.4.2 is:

• Over 100 issues fixed, full list here: 1.4.3 issue list
• Notable: The missing song “where are we now” is now available, but called “wait”
• Notable: Random falling damage due to lag fixed
• Notable: Falling damage when riding minecarts fixed
• Notable: Enchanted book exploit fixed
• Notable: Slimes have correct collision box
• Notable: Signs no longer lose their text client-side

If nothing serious happens, we intend to release 1.4.3 next Wednesday.

Hello Jeb! My friend is very over exited about you adding the majority of the 'Mo Creatures mod be added into Minecraft. I know that you only will add Horses, but I just wanted to email you for him.

My topic is plain and simple, and almost mimics 1.3.1 and 1.3.2. The majority of the Minecraft community wants an early release for Minecraft 1.4. Maybe you could release the rest of what was going to be added in 1.4.1, similarly to 1.3.1 and 1.3.2

All of my, my friends, and the Minecraft community's opinion doesn't need to matter to you, and it is completely up to you if you will or not.

The Pretty Scary Update is almost upon us, with just two weeks until our target release date (October 24th). Here is this weeks changelog:

• Added a new Anvil block for repairing, merging & naming items
• Added an option for cape-owners to hide their capes ingame
• Effects given by the Beacon will be less intrusive on the screen
• Level-up sound now only plays every 5 levels
• More bugfixes & tweaks!

Anyway, the witch will have huts set up in random areas, mostly swamps, and slimes will also spawn above y:40 in swamps, so live in swamps if you want slimeballs/free potions.

I got the shapeshifter mod, deleted it, gulliver mod, deleted it, shapeshifter agan, deleted it, then clay soldier, but I need to get rid of it. Nothing new today, but letme check Mojang just in case.... nope..... I wish there was a mod so that the player spawns in like, a house, and has to find there way out, but the are small, like a clay soldier. Somebody make a mod, send it to me, I am getting software soon for videos.

• A number of new NBT tags for items (intended for custom map makers)
• The pick block action now works on items
• Pressing the 1-9 hotkeys while hovering* over an item will put that item into the inventory bar
• The left-click action will no longer open doors, pull levers, push buttons or open trapdoors. Use the right mouse button!
• Firespread has been slightly nerfed again to prevent infinitely spreading fires
• More bugfixes & tweaks!

  • Flatworld configuration now allows you to generate trees, strongholds etc
  • A number of new NBT tags for items (intended for custom map makers)
  • The pick block action now works on items
  • Pressing the 1-9 hotkeys while hovering over an item will put that item into the inventory bar
  • The left-click action will no longer open doors, pull levers, push buttons or open trapdoors. Use the right mouse button!
  • Firespread has been slightly nerfed again to prevent infinitely spreading fires

The weekly snapshot is yet to be this week!
I will check MC Wiki's Upcoming page, and we will see if they are adding anymore mobs.
ZOMBIES Can wear armor and  use weapons, even diamond swords.
I have known this for awhile, but zombie villagers are being added. Zombies have a 1 in 100 chance to infect a villager via one hit KO, turning the villager into a zombie villager. The villager will no longer- Fuck it, I will just post a picture. Couldnt get the regular picture, so this one will do!

Anyway, I said I would post more about snapshot 12w37a (I FEEL SO SUPERIOR SAYING 12w37a!!!) Or 38a. Anyway, the one where the Greek guy was riding a pig in the Nether. As you could see, he was holding a fishing rod with a carrot attatched to it. The carrot is a new food item in 1.4, along with patatoes. Pigs need seeds to follow you and breed, curiously. putting a carrot on a fishing rod.

MOAR Mobs in 1.4

They are adding the witch (http://www.minecraftwiki.net/wiki/Witch) and the bat (http://www.minecraftwiki.net/wiki/Bat) are new mobs in 1.4, meaning four new mobs total, including the Wither (skeleton) Bat, and Witch. The with is a ranged mob and looks like a villager-

I made world on superlfat intended for farming. I found a village and it has become iron. I improved so much and there has only been one seige. An army of Snow, and a Hundered Gollums of Iron Bravery

Are both new mobs as of 1.4. The Wither Skeleton, a Nether mob, Can be spawned by using Skele spawn eggs in the Nether (75% Chance), And the wither by arranging Wither Skele head in a certain way (I could email Jeb for you, or you could get of your ass and look it up stupid (American Dad Reference to the Episode Son of Stan)). The Wither shoots wither Heads and can taget three targets at a time, because he has three heads. The "Boss Health" only show up when you look at him directly. Yes. Modding. I attempted to re-install Too Many Items ( I had to force update) and it still doesnt work. I might just email Jens Fergusson to iclude it in creative mode or something.

Also to update so Smart Movment is already there!

Hello, Minecrafters!!!! If you are new to the game and want info, you came to the right place. A common video is on www.minecraft.net.

If you are not new to the game, and want to learn how to mod, or want a mod, start http://www.modloader.com/modloader. 

Then, you can get many 'a' mods.

Most mod installs are simple, like Too Many Items.

ie:
-Download Too Many Items 1.4.2.
-Open 'run' menu.
-Search %appdata%
-navigate to minecraft.jar (user/%appdata%/roaming/bin/minecraft
-Copy all TMI mod files and place them in minecraft.jar
-Enjoy!



Basically the same with all mods, but some say to Install modloader from http://www.modloader.com/modloader/
